Conference Information

-UGAMUNC XXIII (2017) information is still viewable and can help give you an idea of what this upcoming year’s conference will be like.

General Information

The University of Georgia operates a traditional-style conference consisting annually of three standard General Assemblies (GA’s 1, 3, and 4, respectively), along with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime In addition, we have approximately five to six committees that vary from year to year. These committees operate under both traditional and crisis formats.

All committees will operate using the University of Georgia Model United Nations Rules of Procedure. Please note that parliamentary procedure varies between conferences. To ensure fluid debate, it is highly suggested that all delegates take the time to familiarize themselves with the debate format used at our conference prior to attendance. A full copy of the rules of procedure are available for download under the Rules, Procedures, and Award Criteria tab under the UGAMUNC heading.
